For good.

It has been a long time since I have updated this... Im not doing very well in the blogoshpere... Im gonna do better... I think...

So lately... I have been on a self discovery journey... I figure since everything around me is changing... I should do some soul searching and figure out... WHO THE HELL I AM? So what am I doing to achieve this task? Great question: I am reading... Spending time along... )which for me is probably the hardest part... since I hate being alone.) journaling (which might be why I never update this thing) and of course working out (relieves all my tension)... I suppose its time that I do this... see since my 25th birthday I have been on a total search for myself... It is important to know who you are... and I feel like I lost myself in others in my life... I need to know ME... not what other people want to me be... Crazy thought I know... But I guess its what I need right now... I know change has to happen because its apart of life, and you have to roll with the punches... But you see I am not good at rolling with the punches... thats one bad thing about me... I want things my way... and lately nothing is going my way... But thats ok because its going to make me stronger... I need to be stronger... I have to be stronger... Maybe thats why I am on such a workout kick... maybe making me physically stronger will make me emotionally stronger... its what makes me workout so dang hard thats for sure...

"Ive heard it said that people come into our lives for a reason bringing something we must learn... and we are led to those that help us most to grow if we let them and we help them in return" I know this is true... because everyone that has come into my life for the past few years... has done just that.... taught me something... So thank you to all the people that have come into my life... you truely are some of the most amazing people I have ever met.... I know i don't thank you all nearly enough....

HOPE!!!!!!

Long time, no update! Well life right now is pretty good... There is only 4 days until the TAKS test!!!! Thank goodness... maybe I can finally get my life back!

Good news is... I FINALLY CAUGHT A BOUQET at Leslie's wedding... Well I didn't catch it exactly... it fell on the floor and I picked it up! I was very excited! Very very very excited. So maybe just maybe there is some hope for me!

We had family Christmas in April today... and there were lots and lots and lots and lots of children. I mean I think the number doubled since last year... or maybe the kids are just getting older... but WOW! It was great to see most of the family. Too bad we only get together once a year, or at weddings and funerals... DOUGLAS LOOP needs to take form immediately! CASEY get on that!

SUMMER SLIM DOWN DAY 9...

Jillian Michaels Day 9 was completed this morning! Summer Slim down is in full gear! I got up at 6:15 for my workout with WG! That is so not like me to get up early and I really need a nap. However, I know the results will all be worth it! Right? They better be! :-) I will take pictures soon.... So we have a semi before and after! I just hope I have some results soon. I have started to change my diet, which means no mcdonalds, no chick fil a, no taco bell, and worst of all, no icing! For those of you that know me, know that giving all of this up is very difficult! But again it will be worth it right? I hope so!

Track season is almost over.... Today is the last official day of practice. And tomorrow is our district meet! I hope my girls run well! They have been working really really hard! But I guess we will see starting tomorrow.

And lastly, why can't people be true to themselves! I mean really true to themselves... Do what you want its your life, don't conform just because you don't have the guts to stand up for what you want....

Fort Worth Arts Festival!

So I am on day 4 of the Jillian Michaels workout program! I'm feeling good... but know its only going to get harder! Have you ever tried to run on the tredmill at a 10 incline at 5.7 MPH? Me either... But I can now say that I have. And I really felt like I was going to fall off! WG does the running part alot better than me... but its okay... I will get better than her one day I hope! So I will keep you posted on my summer slim down... so far im doing the workout well enough... hopefully the food part will improve this week... Im going to try to be done eating by 7 everyday... it might be a stretch but I think I can do it... With WG and Jillian on my team!

Saturday, Ryan, Karen, Kristina, Michelle and I went to the Fort Worth Arts festival. It was so much fun! I really enjoyed the art! It was so interesting and thought provoking! Too bad I don't have 4500 dollars laying around or I would have invested in some pretty cool art! I had $7 so I invested in SAND ART! Thats right... SAND ART! I made my own creation... I am an artist... I just didn't know it... Too bad it didn't turn out as pretty as I saw it in my head! Here is a picture...

Today didn't start off so well... But Ryan and I went to kohls and bought some new pillows! I really didn't know I could be so excited about some dang pillows but I am! We layed on the floor of kohls to make sure we liked them! :-) Then we went to moms and had dinner BURGERS, SAUSAGE, and HOMEMADE french fries... it really doesn't get any better than that! :-)

What?!?!?!?

TAKS time is officially underway! Thus, I have no life! I can't wait for it to be over so I can have my life back! Good news is track is almost over. However, Golf starts. So very exciting! Me and my pink golf clubs are ready to go! I have officially started working out again! I am on Day 2 of Jillian Michaels "Making the cut." Its really really difficult, but I love my WG so I keep going! Hopefully, it will pay off and I will be in swimsuit shape sooner rather than later! :-) If you don't have the book you should go get it... if you are in the workout mode!

If you feel like crying... Go see this movie... I can't decide which I cried worse in THE LAST SONG or THE NOTEBOOK...

I finally am a proud owner of NEW MOON! I had to read the whole series before I watched the movies.. well I finished the series and I must say... I love this movie! I am not a Jacob fan, so I got a poster with Edward!

And Lastly, I am watching ROOTS THE NEXT GENERATIONS! I couldn't stop at just roots, it doesn't lead me to Alex Haley! And I need to know how it is all connected.... sure I could read it... but that wouldn't be fun! So Anita is watching it with me and answering all my questions... even the stupid ones...

SPRING BREAK 2010!!!

Wow! I can't believe I never post on this thing anymore I used to do so good... But now I feel like I never have time.... I will get better at this... I think!

This year for spring break, I went to HOUSTON! I think I saw all of Houston and the surrounding areas while I was there! The car ride from Willis to Houston took like 2 hours.... so what a better way to spend the time then to take car pictures!


We went to the rodeo on Monday to see LADY ANTEBELLUM. This is on the tram on the way from the yellow parking lot! :-) We were very excited to finally get there!


So, Stacy and I decided that we loved the centerpieces, so we took pictures with them! THEY WERE PINK!!!!

I am the BIGGEST lady A fan. For those of you that don't know... they got their name at some photo shoot... Okay maybe not the biggest, but I am up there at least in the top 100!! Considering the fact that at the concert people only knew I need you now! I was singing along with all the songs except for ROCK in the USA which I really don't know!!! :-) But all in all it was a phenomenal concert! I just wish I could have been closer I was up in the nosebleed section! Here are some pictures from the concert! The opening was super cute! They typed their name in google!!!!







Tuesday we went to the museum of Natural Science! I love museums, but the exhibit we went to was NOT that great! it actually sucked.... I would NOT go see the MAGIC exhibit! It is a total waste of money... BUT we did go to rice village and go to the CHOCOLATE BAR!!!!

I loved it!!! It totally made up for the museum experience... They have drinking chocolate! and it is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! check out their website... After the chocolate bar, we walked around rice village, went to the biggest Urban Outfitters I had ever been too... THEY HAD THE SAVED BY THE BELL GAME! I almost bought it but changed my mind. I also found my birthday decorations for when I turn the dreaded 25!!!!

Wednesday was ST. PATRICK'S day... so of course I had to wear something green. We went to a cute place on Lake Conroe and had some crawfish and lemonade! Then I went to see NICOLE!!!! I hadn't seen her in ALMOST a year!!!!! It was really good to see her and catch up!




Thursday and Friday were pretty laid back! I went to track practice.... Hung out with Bella... watched A TON OF BASKETBALL... and just hung out! So my hectic spring break ended in a lot of sleep! That was much needed!!!!

TMSA, BELLA BIRTHDAY, and STATE CHAMPIONS

This weekend was a little hectic! Ok REALLY REALLY HECTIC!!!! First the 8th grade science department and Mr. Joffre presented about SUPER SATURDAY SCIENCE CAMP at TMSA... It was the first time we ever presented to a group of adults, but I think it went pretty well! (I'll post pics later!) We had matching shirts and everything! At the conference I won a $25 gift card to TARGET! That was really really really exciting. I love winning!!!! It pretty much made my day!! After the conference I went to my moms! It had been a while since I had hung out with them for longer than an hour!! But before any hanging out could commence I had to take a nap!!!! But I didn't want the beautiful day to go to waste, so I opened the window!!! That way I felt like I was outside!!!! I woke up just in time to run down the stairs and catch the Timberview 4A STATE CHAMPION LADY BASKETBALL game... Thats Right... TIMBERVIEW IS THE STATE CHAMPION!!!! I am so proud of all of them. Its so AMAZING to watch a girl you watched in the 8th grade play on that stage!!!! What an accomplishment for that group of girls! They DOMINATED!!!!! After watching the game online... It was time to celebrate Bella's first birthday with her cake! The pictures are on my mom's camera so they will come later! But she was really digging the cake! I can't believe my little girl is all grown up... Turning one, and becoming a woman dog all in one day!

Today was a great and much needed day! Ryan, Colton and I all went to plano to hang out with my dad and Rylee. We went to main event and WON MORE TICKETS!!!!! We also bowled. Dad and Ryan got into a heated game. Dad ended up winning by 2... 154 to 156... I barely beat Rylee... 78 to 77... and Colton well he was i last place... but he was trying out a new technique... Thats his excuse for sucking so bad. I hadn't seen my litte sister in almost a year so it was much needed quality time with both of them! And then tonight was Bella's birthday party number two. These pictures are on Dan's camera so when I get them... Ill post them... She got to enjoy her "paw"ty platter and some more birthday cake! She also opened her presents. Everything was pink and she LOVED IT!!!!!

Exciting....

I am offically going to see WICKED June 11th!!!! I am so excited... what a great way to spend my 25th birthday with some great friends, and the best musical in the world! I am STOKED!!!!

Weekend!

So my weekend was super busy but fun! :-) Friday night I met up with my favorite band people at Chuys! I love The "Dot"! If you haven't had one... you should! They are phenomenal! Then we went to dave and busters to play games! Yes games! I love winning tickets!!!! I mean who doesn't like the flashing lights and all the tickets spitting out at you??? Of Course I love it!!!!

Saturday was SUPER SATURDAY SCIENCE CAMP! We had almost 200 kids come up to school for it! I can't believe it!!! WOW! is all I can say about that! It got a little hectic but overall was a great time! Saturday night we went to main event to BOWL and of course play TICKET GAMES! I didn't do so well at the ticket games, but I did WIN one game of bowling!!!! Thats right I beat Ryan at bowling. :-) Its a HUGE accomplishment!

Sunday I went to a wedding shower at church. It was good to see everyone and catch up... It was long overdue!

Well, today starts the first day of track season! Wish me luck! I think im going to need it!

OOPS!

WOW! I was doing so good for a while updating this... But it has been a week since that happened... So here goes nothing....

Last week was a whorlwind... Nothing exciting... worked the basketball game... went to houston... Cried, laughed, and made some new friends while there. Had fun... Went and saw Phantom of the opera at Fair Park in Dallas thanks to Stacy Inman. Ryan and I were almost late becuase I had to finish watching the movie the reader and didn't realize how close I had cut the time (Has anyone seen that movie? Its strange and weird but you can't help but watch it to see how it ends).... We walked into the show when they were making the 5 minute call.

The special effects in this show are phenomenal. The singing this time wasn't as great as I remember... but I still loved the show!!

So far this week I have attended 2 basketball games... I can actually follow along now when someone starts talking basketball! Who would have thought that would ever happen! I need clarification every now and then... but I'm getting it slowly but surely! I think I might go to another basketball game tonight! I just can't seem to get enough!!

Sand.

Life is such a bumpy road. But it takes something dramatic to put it all into perspective I think. I am looking back on my life with such a different outlook than i ever have had. I guess its becuase Im getting older. I used to think the best things in life where the big things the things you had to have. But really life is about all the small things... the tiny things that all add up to the big thing. I read a story once about how a professor filled up a jar with the rocks, then pebbles, then sand... and the sand is what filled in the spaces. I think I need more sand. My life is too focused on the big stuff. Those things will come with time and patience(which I don't have but im working on it)... I just need to focus on the sand right now. Everything will work itself out in the end right?

A Day for Love!

This year for Valentine's day Ryan and I had a low key day. Ryan played football in thr morning while I watched Glory with Bella. Once he arrived home, we got ready and took Bella to Grams house! We couldn't leave her alone all day! Then we went to Mandola's Italian Market... It is a very unique setting. You walk through the front door and on your left is their "meat and cheese market" and on your left is their "Italian Market." It has lots of interesting things to buy. Ryan wouldn't let me buy anything. You stand in line, order, get a number, and have a seat. Your food arrives in record time.. Less than 5 minutes. It was a unique dining experience that I WILL be going back for!


After we left Mandola's we headed to the mall to see "Valentine's Day." However the show we wanted to see was sold out... So we went to barnes and nobles... I got the Jillian Michaels Book Making the Cut. Expect lots of future blogs about that! We finally went to see the movie, and it was the perfect ending to Valentine's Day! I was so excited... Ryan even liked this one! It was funny and dramatic... so you get the best of both worlds!

Unexpected events...

It's Saturday night and while I am watching Ryan and Garrett play Call of Duty Modern Warfare, I am going to update! So... Friday I watched half of my fair lady AND all of the notebook with my friends Karen and Michelle! I still can't believe how much I cry in the Notebook. I mean really... I know exactly what is going to happen and yet get to a certain part and the tears start streaming down my face! I truly enjoyed my unexpected day off from school! It was relaxing! I made dinner on friday night... And nothing was cooked in the microwave! Amazing... I made tacos with Spanish rice... Nothing to difficult, but at least everyone that ate it... lived... I can't believe all the people without power. Its unbelieveable. I had Ryans family over last night due to the power outage!

Today I hung out with my dad. It has been quite a while since we have just hung out and I really really enjoyed it. We did some last minute valentines shopping. I forgot to get Ryan a card! OOOOPs... and we hung out at my Mimi's house. I have really missed spending time with him... Hopefully this is the start of a new trend... We shall see... I guess there is always hope right?

Snow?

Can you believe that it snowed more than 12 hours strait? I sure as heck can't... I have never seen this much snow before in my whole life! Okay wait that may be a little bit of a lie... I did go skiing once and that might be a little bit more snow. But seriously... this is CRAZY! More than 6 inches of snow... what is going on? This was my view at 11:00AM today...


They let the kids go at 1:30 today... So I went sledding down the hill! I couldn't believe how much fun it was! Thank you KIM PENA for calling me and telling me about the snow!

Now I have mixed feelings about the snow... See I have never been hit in the face ith a snow ball flying 50 MPH... but today... I got hit right in the face with a snowball and it hurts... My face is STILL red... Karen says its "snow burn!" I like the name so thats what I am going with! I have this really mean friend who decided it would be HILLARIOUS to throw me into the snowy slush! Since its her birthday Im going to let it slide... Oh and my car got stuck... But Dansby came to the rescue and figured out there is a button you have to push called ESP or something like that in order to get the tires to spin when there isnt much traction... On the other hand, the snow is beautiful to look at... We did get out of school early today and don't have school tomorrow... So there is an up side to this whole snow thing! Right now...

I really wish I was in mexico! At the beach... getting a tan... So here is a picture from Playa Del Carmen... Just to try to add some sunnyness to the drabby snowy day...

Superbowl!

This year instead of not doing anything for the superbowl, I had Heather and Ron over. Ron is Ryan's co-worker. I had snacks set out and finally got to use this football bowl I bought in 2008! It was very exciting!

Went to austin for a Kilgo training yesterday. I had a blast! We went to Pete's Piano bar, ate at a place called Enoteca (Its italian), made a stop at Hey Cupcake and even went to Monkey See Monkey Do. My friend Lisa and I traveled together... It was like old times when we worked summer camp in Durant, Oklahoma in 2007!! I can't believe that was almost 3 years ago! Crazy how time flies. Here is a picture from back then...

Lately...

So I finished the entire Twilight series, I swear it is like an addiction you have to finish. I couldn't put it down, I had to know how it ended. All the suspense, everything built up and then at the final chapter I was done. I didn't really know what to do next... I was utterly just left wanting more, needing more, but there is nothing there. No More. What kind of an ending was that Stephanie Myer. I really enjoyed the books don't get me wrong, but the ending was just SUCH A LET DOWN. I need therapy after that one. I had a dream the book ended very differently (see right there PROBLEM, WHO DREAMS AN ALTERNATE ENDING???). I would really like to meet Stephanie Myer and talk to her about the final book. I have so many questions... THAT WERE NOT ANSWERED by the book.

On a lighter note... I am finally friends with the gym again. Yes, I am... I am using Jillian Michael's work out and it is kicking my butt. Hopefully it will all be worth it once I work out long enough... Karen promises me it will be but I am very very very sceptical.



Saw Dear John last night... Made Ryan go see it too... He wasn't very happy. The movie was a tear jerker. I couldn't believe how much I could cry at the movie. We had to stay after everyone was gone so I could catch my breath, wipe my eyes, and leave the theatre civilized. Almost as bad as the Notebook, but not quite there. I am such a cryer in movies. It's really quite embarrassing. Not only do Nicholas Sparks movies make me cry but his books too. Last Song was the worst. I think because I relate so much to the character Vonnie. I guess something major is going to have to happen to repair some of the damage. But maybe not, maybe it will all work itself out. Hopefully.

I am looking for a new series to start... Im thinking Wicked... becuase I am absolutly 100% in love with the musical. We shall see though...

Key Finder

I am constantly losing my keys... and today I am so thankful for my key finder... after 30 minutes of looking for my keys I remembered that I had a key finder, so I pushed the little green button... and found my keys in maybe 5 seconds! What a life saver the key finder is... if you are like me and you loose things often... GET A KEY FINDER they are the best inventions ever!

First Blog Ever

So I have decided to start a blog. Not really sure why. But I guess this is it. Welcome to SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS. I suppose you are wondering why I chose this as a title to my blog. Well, I suppose it is because I love the word. I love how it sounds, I love what it means, and I guess it makes me feel smart because I can spell the word! The only reason I can spell it is because of Mary Poppins the Musical! But oh well, at least I get to feel smart.

So about me: I suppose I should explain who I am right? Well, I am an 8th grade science teacher and coach. I love my job, and the people I work with. I have the best dog in the whole world. Her name is Bella! She is the sweetest puppy ever. I have been dating the same guy for 8 years. 8 years is a really long time to date someone I know. And I get lots of questions about it. I almost wanted to name my blog countdown to a proposal. But I didn't know how long to put the countdown for and if the countdown got here and there wasn't a proposal by then what do I do? See the predicament? So, I stuck with Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. Anyway, so back to who I am. Sorry I have a spastic brain. I guess you will just get to know me as you read my blog. If anyone reads my blog.
